The Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) is distributing a survey to targeted stakeholders around Washington to gather input from organizations who provide installations of floats, manufacture floats, or regulate floats to help understand the opportunities and challenges for future float regulations. This is a voluntary survey and will be used to inform future regulations regarding floats and has been mandated by the legislature under House Bill 1085. This survey includes 10-20 questions and depending on the type of stakeholder your organization is. Some questions may ask for data regarding your organization’s experiences with or use of floats. Respondents have the ability to omit any answers or withdraw from the survey at any time. It is intended that about one survey per organization is completed.

The survey asks to identify the organization for which the respondent represents, but responses will not be individually identified to the public. Information may be releasable in the event of a public records request. Please contact Cameron Stone (Cameron.Stone@dfw.wa.gov) for questions about the survey or results.
