NMTA's summer Grow Boating efforts are in full swing, with earned media showcasing the boating lifestyle across television, radio and digital platforms.

KING 5 Evening Magazine has been on the water several times in recent weeks, hosting their show from Lake Union and Elliott Bay. The Lake Union show featured a Beneteau Oceanis generously provided by Signature Yachts, while another highlighted Freedom Boat Club, whose Bayliner Trophy provided the perfect platform to showcase boating on Elliott Bay, the Seattle skyline and the benefits of club membership for those who want to enjoy boating without the responsibilities of ownership. Meanwhile, Northwest News Radio anchor Aaron Wright recently interviewed George Harris for the Northwest Connect program and podcast. The half-hour episode, which aired on AM 1000 and FM 97.7 last weekend, explores how to get started in boating, summer camps for kids, boating safety and more.

There's more to come. Later this month, Evening Magazine will head back out on the water to host their show while filming a crabbing adventure with George.

Collectively, these stories, photos and videos will generate thousands of positive impressions throughout the region, highlighting the fun, freedom and accessibility of boating while inspiring more people to discover life on the water.
