Third quarter sales data from UW Sea Grant shows new and brokerage unit sales down 14.3% compared to third quarter 2023 and for the same period down 12.5% in value. The summary tables below are for each quarter with a comparison to the previous year. Year-to-date new and brokerage registrations are down 14.7% in units and down 4.4% in value. This data can be viewed on UW Sea Grant’s Recreational Boat Sales Dashboard. 
They also maintain the Recreational Boat Fleet Dashboard which shows the number of Washington registered boats as of June 30 using DOL data. Note, the June 2024 data has not been added. Users can filter the data by boat type, moorage county, registered county, and registered state (out of state ownership).
