September boat sales data from University of Washington Sea Grant and the Department of Licensing arrived last week for a complete look at Q3. 
New and brokerage boat sales continue to follow the sharp decline in consumer confidence compared to 2025. New boat registrations in Washington declined by 18.3% with 1,408 new boats registered compared to 1,723 in Q3 2025. Brokerage registrations declined by 10.7% with 1,031 registrations for the quarter compared to 1,154 in 2025. The table above summarizes Q3 new and brokerage registrations with YTD (Q1+Q2+Q3) totals and percent change in orange. In green at the bottom are the rolling 12-month totals for October 2025 – September 2026 compared to October 2024 – September 2025. For the Rolling 12-month new boat unit registrations are off 14.1% and brokerage unit registrations increased by 1.3%.
