October Boat Sales Up In Units and Value

New and brokerage boat sales in October were up 8.6% in units and 35.2% in value compared to October 2023 according to data just added to the Washington Sea Grant Washington Recreational Boat Sales Dashboard. Year to date new and brokerage boat sales are down 13.2% in units and up 4.8% in value. Kevin Decker with Sea Grant recently made impressive updates to the Dashboard that make the data more interactive and visual allowing you “to select any month and year to explore boat sales data, compare performance with the same period from the previous year, and assess changes in sales volume and value over time. Use the date selector to tailor the data to your desired time frame and gain insights into how sales trends are evolving in volume and value.” Pictured above are examples that show New Dealer and Used Dealer (brokerage) registration data for the past 12 months in units and value.
