After our fiscal year ends (June 30), the NMTA Board of Trustees requests a FULL audit of that accounting year. A team of auditors from Clark Nuber spend a week doing an extensive review of the income and expenses for the entire year and have full access to all NMTA documents; revenue, expenses, checking accounts, investment accounts, boat show applications, expense reports, payroll, financials statements, deposit logs, invoices, etc. Jen Higgins, our director of finance, answers any questions and provides support documents they request. We’re pleased to report that this year was another clean audit with an unmodified opinion, Jen’s 11th and NMTA’s 20th. Thank you Jen for your diligent work!
