This year, we’re proud to honor Representative Julia Reed with our Legislator of the Year Award for her outstanding leadership and steadfast support of Washington’s maritime sector — especially the recreational marine industry. From advocating on issues like the luxury tax on boats and championing workforce development, Representative Reed has been a strong and effective voice for our community.
We’re also excited to hear directly from her during the meeting, as she shares insights from the legislative session and offers her perspective on our industry.
Fun fact: Representative Reed is a former member of the Sea Scouts, underscoring her lifelong connection to the water.
