Thank you to all NMTA members who voted in this year’s Board elections—and congratulations to our newly elected trustees: Scott Anderson (CSR Marine), Nick Buck-Niehaus (Sundance Yachts), and Bryce Hansen (Basta Boatlifts). They will serve three-year terms from July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2028.
Scott Anderson continues his long-standing service on the Board. With over 30 years running a yacht repair business, Scott brings deep insight into the needs and concerns of brokers, dealers, end users, and fellow repair professionals. He’s especially passionate about workforce development and preparing the next generation of marine industry professionals.
Nick Buck-Niehaus is a third-generation co-owner of Sundance Yacht Sales & Marina, with 16 years of experience across all areas of the business, including marina operations and boat dealerships. He’s excited to bring his broad industry perspective to the Board and looks forward to helping NMTA engage future marine trades professionals through training and outreach.
With a background in accounting and finance, six years as owner of Basta BoatLifts and six years of active involvement with NMTA on the Grow Boating and Boat Show committees, Bryce Hansen is excited to continue his service and step up to the Board. He offers valuable insights—especially from the accessories sector. Bryce looks forward to contributing to NMTA’s advocacy work and supporting the Board’s financial oversight.
