The 2024 November and December Department of Licensing (DOL) boat registration data is now available on the UW Sea Grant Recreational Boat Sales Dashboard. The fourth quarter of 2024 posted a 10.6% increase in new and brokerage unit sales compared to the same period in 2023, with Q4 2024 total units registered at 1,067. The value of new and brokerage sales showed an 18.3% increase with a Q4 2024 total value of $111.8M. The table below shows new and brokerage registrations (units and value) by month for Q4 2024 compared to Q4 2023. For the calendar year 2024 Washington state posted 8,245 units with a value of $650M. This is a 12.1% decrease in units and 1.3% decrease in value compared to 2023.
