We received March boat sales data from UW Sea Grant and the Department of Licensing last week. Boat registration by brokers posted strong February and March sales with Q1 brokerage registrations totaling $46.6M compared to $42.4M in 2023 for a 9.9% increase.
Brokerage registrations in units totaled 522 for Q1 compared to 486 in 2023 for a 7.4% increase. New registrations by dealers for Q1 were flat with a .9% increase in value with $79.0M compared to $78.3M in 2023. New dealer Q1 registrations were 819 units compared to 1,011 in 2023 for a 19.0% unit decrease. You can see the UW Sea Grant vessel registration dashboard here.
